Ocean Hero - Eco Dive

About Eco Dive

Eco Dive's goal is to establish a worldwide network of recreational cleanup divers and snorkelers to recover as much waste as possible before it gets the chance to break down in the deep.

Their mission is to lead diving centres into a large community and together, protect what connects us.

They give every licensed diver the opportunity to effectively do something about the debris in the oceans and give tourism the chance to go green whilst enjoying what they love.

With the income generated, they finance clean-up missions and beach clean-ups.

Why Casilda is an Ocean Hero.

Eco Dive share in our values of reducing plastic waste and inspiring individuals and communities to work together to keep our oceans and beaches free from plastics.

Casilda works tirelessly in her mission and, with our support, we aim to help her achieve her goals which is what the Ocean Hero partnership is all about.

Communities working together to tackle environmental issues can have a big impact and we are excited to promote the unique art and jewellery that is made from the plastics and other debris recovered from each Eco Dive.

Super excited to start our collaboration with Coexist Projects under the Ocean Hero initiative!

Our Oceans are suffering, but there is an increasingly high response on the part of individuals who find ways to pitch in.

Together we can all make a real difference, but there is a need for cohesiveness and organised coexistence in order to maximise our impact.

We are delighted to find this much needed back-up in the Ocean Hero initiative.

Together with Coexist Projects, we can increase our reach, and create a functional worldwide network to effectively intercept ocean debris before they make it to deep waters.

Now that is something to celebrate!!! Sincerely,
Casilda Mahou - Ecodive

About Eco Dive

Eco Dive Maldives Competition

During their Eco Dives and Eco Snorkelling trips, divers will have the opportunity to pick up rubbish from the bottom of the sea and store it in one of their specially made recycled bags in the water.

On land, the collected garbage is counted and the points are credited.

Be the most diligent, and keep your eyes open on every trip, and win a 10 day trip to Maldives!
