Why We Exist
Every day, scientists, conservationists and educators work tirelessly to protect our oceans. Many do so with limited resources and little time to promote their achievements. Co-Exist Projects exists to help change that.
Through science, education, storytelling and collaboration, we strengthen marine conservation organisations while inspiring more people to care about our blue planet.

What Our Winners Say
I just have no words. Thank you so so so much for such an incredible experience. Everyone took care of us so so well, underwater and above ground, and we all had so much fun – professionals through and through. I truly can’t describe the underwater world just yet but it was unlike anything I could have ever imagined or dreamed of!
Daisy Nesbit2025 WinnerIt totally surpassed anything we expected. The people, the island, the wildlife, everything was magical. It’s a life changing trip that changed me and my girlfriend’s view on wildlife and marine conservation. Seeing a healthy island and its wildlife was a once in a lifetime chance for both of us and we are so grateful to have had this opportunity.
Coen2024 WinnerI wanted to express my gratitude to the Co-Exist team, your programme really pushed me into this field. Winning the Co-Exist contest taught me to apply for everything, nothing to lose, everything to gain. I’ve been accepted to universities like Monash, University of Sydney, and James Cook to study conservation and marine biology. The trajectory of my career has drastically changed and I truly believe I can grow in this industry.
